**Fog lights** are an important component of a vehicle's lighting system, designed to improve visibility in adverse conditions such as fog, snow, heavy rain, and smoke. There are two types of fog lights: **front** and **rear**.

- **Front fog lights** are white or yellow and are used together with the position lights. They can also be used with high and low beam lights.

- **Rear fog lights** are red and should only be used when visibility conditions are very poor. They can be turned on together with high and low beam lights, as well as with front fog lights.

In the case of **motorcycles**, they can optionally be equipped with fog lights both at the front and rear. This means it is not mandatory, but it is possible and allowed to equip them with these lights to improve safety and visibility in adverse weather conditions.
