Explanation
Location of the panel for protruding load
- If the load projects to the rear by up to 10% of the vehicle’s length, it must be signalled with a 50 × 50 cm panel with red and white diagonal stripes.
- Place it at the rearmost end of the load (not on the bodywork).
- It is mandatory on any type of vehicle, not only those intended for the transport of goods.
- In daytime and good visibility, the panel is sufficient as signalling.
