R-2 (STOP): mandatory stop
The priority sign R-2 requires a **complete stop** of the vehicle **always**, even if no traffic is visible.
- Where to stop: at the **stop line**; if none exists, **before the junction**.
- After stopping, you must **give way** to all vehicles that are travelling on the priority road.
- Merely slowing down is not enough: the stop must be **complete**.
