Supplementary panel S-800: distance to the start of the hazard or regulation
- This panel indicates the **distance** from the sign to where the **hazard begins** or the **regulatory requirement** of the main sign **starts to apply**.
- Example: if it shows **10 m**, the hazard or the rule **begins 10 metres ahead**.
- Specific use: under the **carriageway narrowing** sign, it may indicate the **clear width** at the narrowing.
- It does not indicate the length of the hazardous section, only the **starting point**.
