Sign **S-40** indicates the **end of a lane reserved exclusively** for:
- **Cycles** (bicycles and similar cycles).
- **Personal mobility vehicles (PMVs)**, such as electric scooters.
From this sign onwards:
- The **special lane** for cycles and PMVs ends.
- The **previous prohibition** preventing other users from driving on that lane is lifted.
- From that point on, the carriageway is once again subject to the **general traffic rules**, allowing use by other vehicles, unless there is another sign that restricts or prohibits their access.
