Cycle-pedestrian path and rules of coexistence

Sign **S-33, cycle-pedestrian path** indicates the existence of a **road reserved exclusively for pedestrians, cycles and, where applicable, PMVs (personal mobility vehicles)**, **separated from motor traffic**.

It is usually found in **open spaces** such as **parks, gardens or forests**, although **outside built-up areas** it may also run **parallel to the road**.

On this road:

- **Cycles** and, where applicable, **PMVs**, must **reduce their speed** when there are **people walking**, to ensure **safety** and **coexistence**.
- **Pedestrians** must **facilitate the passage** of **cycles** and, where applicable, **PMVs**, promoting shared and orderly traffic.
