Minimum distance in foggy conditions

The **R-300 sign (minimum separation)** prohibits driving without maintaining with the vehicle in front a **distance equal to or greater** than that indicated on the sign.
That distance can only be reduced **for overtaking**.

When the **S-890c panel** appears under this sign, it means that the obligation to maintain that **minimum separation** applies **only when there is fog** or other conditions of reduced visibility.

If the sign does not indicate any specific figure, at least the **regulatory safety distance** between vehicles must be maintained.
