The **P-15 Irregular profile** sign warns of a **nearby hazard** due to a **hump**, **speed bump** or **road surface in poor condition**.
On seeing it, you must **reduce speed**, because:
- The vehicle may **skid**.
- A **suspension failure** or other mechanical damage may occur.
The supplementary plate **S-800 Distance to the beginning of the hazard or regulation** indicates the **distance** between the place where the sign is located and the **point where the hazard actually begins** or a specific **regulation** (for example, a speed limit) starts to apply.
When this plate is placed under a **road narrowing** sign, it can also indicate the **free width** remaining at that narrowing.
