Explanation
Sign R-3: priority road
- Indicates that the road you are driving on has the **right of way** at junctions over vehicles approaching from **other carriageways**.
- The priority is maintained at all successive junctions until an **end of priority sign (R-4)**, a **traffic light**, or any **other sign** that modifies the priority.
- It does not exempt you from yielding to **pedestrians at crossings**, **cyclists when turning**, or **priority vehicles** on duty.
- At junctions, vehicles on the other roads must **yield**; you go first if it is **safe**.
