Contraflow lane due to roadworks: use and key rules

- To improve traffic flow at roadworks, a lane may be enabled in the **opposite direction to the usual one**, marked with **traffic beacons** and, where applicable, **square lane-control signals**.
- Who can use it: **normally only motorcycles and passenger cars without a trailer**. **All other vehicles** may not use it, **unless specific signage** authorizes it.
- Mandatory: **low-beam headlights on day and night** and keep **speed between 60 and 80 km/h**.
- Recommendations: increase attention, maintain separation from the beacons, and avoid sudden maneuvers.
