Explanation
ECO sticker: which vehicles can have it
The **ECO** sticker (blue and green) is granted to vehicles that pollute little and comply with **maximum emission limits** established by the DGT.
The ECO label may be used by:
- **Plug-in hybrids** with **electric range of less than 40 km**.
- **Non-plug-in hybrids** (HEV).
- Vehicles that use **gaseous fuels**, such as:
- **Compressed natural gas (CNG)**
- **Liquefied natural gas (LNG)**
- **Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG)**
The essential condition is that these vehicles remain **below the maximum emission levels** set for the ECO sticker. If they exceed them, they **cannot** obtain this label.
